Habitat Warriors is a fun, nature-based program that gets children into nature and teaches them about our native plants and wildlife. Children can get curious about nature with a hands-on revegetation program tailored to your school or kindergarten.

Running a revegetation program can be tricky unless you have the right knowledge and skills. We make it simple for schools and kindergartens to run their own 6-12 month revegetation program, with lots of on-ground support and useful resources and tips.

As nature specialists, we want to share our knowledge to inspire and empower the next generation to take action for our environment.

Are you interested in running a revegetation program, but not sure where to start? Unsure how to pull together a planting list or how to grow your own native plants?

Our “one-stop shop” approach will help you run a fun, practical revegetation program that benefits both the environment and your students. Our expert botanists will visit your revegetation site to help you work out which native plants you already have there and will give you site-specific information on what you need to plant and where best to plant it. That way, you can get it right from the start, saving time and money, and giving you the best chance of success for your revegetation project.

Our practical learning resources are developed by environmental specialists, with clear links to curriculum and teaching outcomes. You can either choose to run your own program independently, or our expert botanists can help out during any stage of the project. We offer online support throughout your project as well as lots of simple, easy to use resources and tips to help you along the way.

The HW program also includes a cultural heritage session run by a Traditional Owner, giving children the opportunity to celebrate Aboriginal culture and heritage.
